Things To Do

There are facilities available on St. Mary's for deep-sea fishing, glass bottom boat tours and Sea Safaris to see dolphins, seals, puffins & basking sharks, sailing, diving, golf, riding and cycling also tennis and windsurfing.

There are also electric golf buggies for hire to see out of the way places. Driving licence required. 75 and under age limit.

Wednesday and Friday evenings Gig-Racing is scheduled. You can participate by cheering from the quay or jump on a tripper boat to follow the actual gig race.

Excursion Planning

Our local Scillonian boatman from St Mary’s Boatmen Association offer available boat trips to the off islands daily.

Each island with its own unique secrets, castles, turquoise clear sea, sandy deserted beaches, cafes and pubs. There are hundreds of interesting and beautiful sights to photograph and enjoy, fantastic beaches, coastal walks plus historical places of interest that never fail to surprise the first-time visitor.
